Position: Creative Dance Teacher
Location: South East London
Start Date: Immediate

Pay: £30-£50 per session

Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Creative Dance Teacher to join our team at SE19DanceProject. This role involves teaching creative dance to a range of ages and abilities, with a focus on developing creativity, movement skills, and expression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver creative dance classes for various age groups

• Encourage creativity, self-expression, and collaboration within classes.

• Provide tailored teaching that meets the needs and abilities of all participants.

• Ensure that classes are inclusive, accessible, and welcoming for all.

• Work collaboratively with the SE19DanceProject team to create performances, workshops, and events.

• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.

• Promote the SE19DanceProject ethos of creativity, community, and personal growth.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience teaching dance in a creative or contemporary style.

• A passion for working with diverse groups and inspiring others through dance.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.

• Ability to adapt teaching methods to different ages and learning styles.

• A professional, reliable, and enthusiastic attitude.

• DBS check and relevant safeguarding training will be required.

We are currently looking for permanent teacher for our class in Forest Hill: Saturdays 9:45-10:20 as well as teachers who would like to be added to our cover list.
